Tollywood Heros Pawan
Kalyan and Mahesh Babu are the two stars who have the highest and almost
equal market in Tollywood. The films of these two actors does a
business of over Rs 65 crore, including theatrical, satellite and audio
rights. Every time a new release of one of these stars gears up for
release, Old records will be shattered and new records are bound to be
created. When it comes to satellite rights, Pawan Kalyan's 'Atharintiki
Daredi' created an all-time record by fetching Rs 9 crore. Within
months, Mahesh Babu's '1 - Nenokkadine' shattered that record by a
slight margin by earning Rs 9 crore-plus.
The
war-like situation between the media houses too working in favor of
Tollywood stars. While the satellite rights 'Atharintiki Daredi' are
bagged by MAA TV, Gemini TV entered the scene with '1 - Nenokkadine'.
'Atharintiki Daredi' is likely to release on August 21st and '1 -
Nenokkadine' is slated for January 10th, 2014. Let's see who will have
the last laugh in the end.
