With Attarintiki Daredi smashing so many records, Trivikram Srinivas
is the director-in-demand in tollywood now with producers and heroes
queuing up for him. And naturally, the director wanted to take complete
advantage of this and has raised his remuneration to as much as 12
crores.
When his movies Khaleja and Julayi were not doing that well at the box office, he was paid with only 8 crores for Attarintiki Daredi, but now that the movie has become a smashing hit, this he thought was the right time to hike his fees as he may not get a chance like this in the future again (just in case his next movie does not do well). With the success of tollywood movies being highly unpredictable (what with good movies like Khaleja and Julayi not doing very well and an okay-movie like Attarintiki Daredi doing so incredibly well), this is definitely the right move.
We hear that producers like Dil Raju are actually getting ready to pay him 12 crores. So looks like another movie of his is getting ready.
