Sanjay Dutt who was undergoing the three-and-half years imprisonment at Yerwada jail in Pune has got a lot of visitors ever since he surrendered abiding by the Supreme Court's judgment in connection with the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts. Now, few key members of his film unit will join the list.
It may be mentioned that before getting into the prison, Sanjay Dutt has played pivotal roles in few big ticket Hindi films including the remake of 1973 super hit 'Zanjeer' in which he got more footage than the original 'Sher Khan'. As this high-octane cop flick is getting ready for release on September 6th Worldwide, Both Ram Charan and director Apoorva Lakhia decided to meet Sanjay in the prison to seek his approval and blessings.
For the same, Makers of 'Zanjeer' are going to file an application for getting the nod from the Yerwada jail officials to meet the senior actor in prison during the mulaqat time. Ram Charan has assured to the director that he will be available whenever the cops permit them to meet Sanjay Dutt.
