Celebrities
or soon-to-be-released Telugu movies or the films currently screening in the
theatres have always been an easy target of agitators every time a
movement is at its peaks. The scenes of the Telangana movement have been
repeating in the United AP movement as well. From damaging the flexis
and banners of the films to distributing hate pamphlets to issuing
warnings, everything is same-to-same. Luckily, the situation is slowly
coming under control now. Samaikyandhra Employees and Students Joint
Action Committee (JAC) made it clear that it wouldn't resort to stalling
the screening of movies featuring heroes of Chiranjeevi's family and
they are only demanding the resignation of the Union Minister supporting
the United AP movement.
While
the Students JAC leader Avinash appealed to the agitators not to disrupt
the screening of any of the Mega films, APNOGOs secretary Md.Iqbal said
they are only stressing on the resignation and the mega heroes were
never their target. The producers of 'Atharintiki Daredi', 'Yevadu' and
'Toofan' have been feeling the pressure ever since few of the agitators
warned that they wouldn't allow the screening of Mega heroes films in
Andhra and Rayalseema regions. Nearly, Rs 180 crores have been riding on
these projects. The fresh statements from Seemandhra allowing the
release came as a big relief for the makers of these big ticket
entertainers. Still, many questions have be answered. Will the statement
from JAC assure smooth release? Is this a ploy of Seemandhra agitators
to make Chiru pay the price?
