Tollywood Director Gunasekhar who is known for his huge sets and grand locales is coming up with three sets for Rani Rudrama Devi film. The 1000 pillar temple, The ancient village of Pakanadu and the Diviseema region are going to be reconstructed by the art department under the supervision of Thota Tarani.  Recently, a schedule of the film was shot in Warangal and currently, the shooting is progressing at the Annapurna Studios. Anushka Shetty is playing the role of Rudrama Devi one of the most prominent rulers of Kakatiya dynasty and Rana Daggubati will be seen as Chalukya Veerabhadrudu' the prince of Nidadavole. Maestro Ilayaraja wields the baton of music for this periodic drama which is being made in Telugu and Tamil languages in 3D.
