Veteran actor Kota Srinivasa rao, who
acted in more than 300 films so far, has been selected for the
prestigious Padmasri Dr.Allu Rama Lingaiah Award for the year of 2013 by
Padmasri Dr.Allu Rama Lingaiah Kalapetam, Hyderabad for his
contribution to film industry. The award will be given to him in a grand
function to be held at Tummalapalli vari Kalakshetram at Vijayawada on
September 30th amid the presence imminent people from film industry and
political circles. He will be presented with ‘Swarna Kankanam’ on this
occasion.So far, Dr.Rajendra Prasad, Dr. Barhmanandam, K.Viswanath,
veteran comedian late Padmanabham, Kaikala Satyanarayana, Tanikella
Bharani, EVV Satyanarayana, Tamil actors Dr.Manorama and Kalaimaamani
were honored with this prestigious award. Kalapetam President Saripalli
Kondal rao will preside over this function.
