Lang is coming back to Pandora. Lang will reprise his role as the
villain in “Avatar" sequels. The problem that Cameron has been working
on is? Lang's character, Miles Quaritch, was killed at the end of the
first "Avatar." "I'm not going to say exactly HOW we're supposed to
bring him back, but it's a science fiction, after all," Cameron told to a
popular web site while announcing the news.
Lang
wouldn't be the first actor to have their "Avatar" character return from
the dead in some form; Sigourney Weaver is also expected to come back
for the "Avatar" sequels even though her character perished in the
original film. "Okay, here’s the deal. When you have a science-fiction
series, a science-fiction franchise, you’re never dead, unless your DNA
is expunged from the universe," Cameron told Vulture in 2011 about how
Weaver could play a role in his sequel of avatar.
