Earlier, it was reported that the film will be remade in Hindi either with Kareena Kapoor or Aishwarya Rai, but nothing went on cards. Arundhati is one of the biggest hits in Tollywood, which made Anushka Shetty, a leading actress. Kodi Ramakrishna has written and directed the movie and Shyam Prasad Reddy is the producer.
